First, second, and sixth periods are standard language arts classes. Fifth period is an advanced class. We focus on reading, writing, and research.

Class Announcements

3rd nine weeks

This nine weeks we will be focusing on several new skills and standards. We will learn about propaganda in advertising and in politics, author's bias, editorials, persuasive essays, informational text and graphic features in writing, author's purpose, and using transtions in writing just to name a few. The regular stems, spelling, and Reading Journals will continue. We will have a novel study relating to the Holocaust and several mini-projects as well.
